Resurfaced is an art project by artists and vintage watch enthusiasts.

The origins were simple; there are countless vintage time pieces that have over the years sustained damage, through accident, neglect or simply nature. In many cases, damage to something like the dial (or face) of the watch can have a big impact on the aesthetic of the watch, meaning it often loses desirability and value.

We thought this was a real shame.

Most of the design inspiration comes from the regional attributes of the watch and whatever damage the watch has sustained. We only usually replace the glass.
