White Horse

The story

White Horse is built around a single idea: motion. Not controlled motion, not trained performance — just the raw, unrestrained energy of a horse running because nothing is stopping it. The artwork focuses on that physicality: the stretch of the stride, the flow of the mane, the sense that the animal is powering forward without hesitation or purpose.

The dial doesn’t frame the horse as mythical, elegant, or symbolic. It’s not about purity or grace. It’s about the drama that comes from a powerful creature moving at full speed in open space. The scene leaves out any background detail so the focus stays entirely on the animal’s movement — a moment of instinct rather than narrative.

Painting a running horse on a small circular dial is a challenge of compression. The shape and energy have to be clear at a glance, with enough detail to feel alive but not so much that it becomes crowded. The result is a piece that feels immediate: a split second of motion frozen into a small, mechanical object.

It’s unbridled in the literal sense
