Resurfaced is all about giving new life to vintage watches by giving the dial a new 'face'. This painting explores that concept as literally as possible; a restoration of the dial to it's original white color, with the painter directly represented on the dial. In this case, the artist is depicted as a workman rather than an artist, using a roller rather than a delicate paintbrush as his work is essentially a simple refresh rather than a detailed artwork.
