Blue Fish (the experiment)
Favre-Leuba
Sea Chief

1960s
The Favre-Leube Sea Chief watch is ideal for both marine enthusiasts and everyday wearers. With its heritage rooted in Swiss watchmaking, the Sea Chief combines innovative technology with classic aesthetics, ensuring reliability and style in any environment. The Sea Chief was intended to be waterproof enough to be suitable for any users.
This is the very first painted watch project, completed as an experiment. The Sea-Chief waterproof credentials lend itself towards a fish design which allows a flowing and dynamic coverage of a sizeable area of the patina dial area.
The blue and white gives a simple contrast to the aged beige.
