The story
In the 1970s, Enicar, a Swiss watch brand known for its precision and craftsmanship, produced a range of elegant dress watches that reflected the era's style and innovation. Characterized by their slim profiles and classic designs, these watches often featured gold or stainless steel cases, minimalist dials, and high-quality automatic movements.
This vintage enicar had lost all the text from the dial and was quite heavily tarnished. The only identifying hint that remained of it being an Enicar (on the dial at least) was the circular part of the planet logo.
This isolated 'bump' became the eye of the dragon, which bulges from the surface of the dial. The rest of the dial required significant coverage as all identifying text had been tarnished, which allowed for a sizeable dragon image to be used.
2024 is the year of the dragon and the person who purchased the watch has a strong affinity with dragons.
