The story
Raymond Weil is a Swiss watchmaker founded in 1976 in Geneva, Switzerland, by its namesake, Raymond Weil. As a family-owned company, it prides itself on precision, innovation, and a commitment to accessible luxury, making it a celebrated name in the world of horology.
This watch was acquired by its owner as a celebration following a very difficult experience rebuilding an Edwardian house, following a problem caused by a problematic builder. The watch was purchased once the most difficult period had been passed as a reminder of that experience. Over time the watch lost its standout nature within a larger connection, so painting it with flowers that during the Edwardian times (such as Forget-me-nots) represent resilience and endurance.
