Pine and crane
Shanghai
Available
1960s
The crane is a commonly recurring motif in eastern culture; notably in China and Japan where they symbolise long life, health and vitality. Similarly, the pine tree, with it's evergreen spiny needles is seen as hardy, resilient and long-lasting.
Combined, these two symbols, with their durability pair well with this Shanghai watch which is well into it's 7th decade and still functioning; another symbol of durability and long life.
