This was a commission for a client living in London. The goal was to capture the London vibe through old architectural landmarks which made the subject matter, the Houses of Parliament, an easy choice. The style was driven by a reference to the feel of a Turner painting, as one of britains most renowned artists, but also a way of integrating some of the deep black scratches and oxidation that the dial had taken on.
